The Phantom of the Lake: A look at Mermaid Phantom's October photo shoot at Grand Traverse Bay

Ahoy there my friends!

Last Thursday, my wonderful older (human) sister took me to Grand Traverse Bay for a little mermaid photo shoot madness. It was about 40 degrees out, pretty windy, and pretty damp. But... it was a very good time!

Since I am getting ready to dress up for Halloween in just a moment, and don't currently have my costume together yet, I thought I'd use this day to share some of the photos with you that we took on that chilly October afternoon. There will be some videos coming out in the future too, along with even more photos, but I'm not ready to release all of those quite yet! ;D

By the time our photo session was over, I was one dirty mermaid (and half frozen too)! My hair was full of beach debris, my tail was covered in sand, and I had random things speckled all over my body! It took a while for all parties to get clean again (especially my mermaid tail!), but that's all part of the fun.
